A History of Beer and Pubs in Halesworth
The name Swan goes back to the 15th century and may be associated with Vintners who kept taverns. The earliest reference to The Swan, Halesworth is in a 1577 Survey. There is an undated reference to a 15th century building which ‘reopened as White Swan’. The Swan is still in business on the London Road. |
