Help using this website

The Halesworth Town Plan website is powered by MediaWIKI which enables the community to contribute to this process directly. To make changes to any page on the Town Plan website you must register and create a new account. This will entitle you to contribute to all discussion pages and if you are directly involved in a Working group you will be able to edit pages specific to that Working group.
Formatting
When editing a page you will use a simple editing box and you can format your copy by using various commands. These are listed below:
- Italics use the I button on the toolbar or surround the text with two single quotes.
- Bold use the B button on the toolbar or surround the text with three single quotes.
- Bulleted lists like this list are easily created by adding a star (*) the beginning of each line to have a bullet.
- Numbered lists are created in the same way but using a hash (#) symbol.
Headings
You can sub divide your text into headings by surrounding the heading text with equals signs. Use two (==)either side of the heading to create a first level heading and three (===) to create a second level heading. You can create up to 6 levels of heading this way.
